Perspective

So the same guy that talked up the 7 sisters trail race, told me what an amazing race it is, and how it's a must do, is the same guy that talked me out of it yesterday morning.
Of course he has actually done the race.
And I'm glad I've talked to him. His major point is that it's a brutal race and that the recovery time is lengthy.
Generally I think I'm not susceptible to repercussions of serious physical challenges and I like to downplay the severity of the challenge. Which is pretty silly.
So, for now I'm gonna prep and focus on the challenges of Half Ironman's.
